Yongzheng Six-Character Mark
This mallet vase is finely potted with tapering body rising to a wide sloping shoulder and tall cylindrical neck and flared mouth. It is covered in an even greyish-celadon crackled Guan-type glaze which stops at the footring to reveal the brown body. The base is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng seal mark in underglaze blue.
